Personal Training.  Okay, so maybe you are new to working out or it's been a few years since you were last in a gym. Perhaps your last experience with fitness was unpleasant or ended with injury. You may need a program that  is designed specifically to meet your objectives with an instructor who will be attuned to you and your needs. 

One-on-one personal training may be exactly what you need to get back on track to a healthier, fitter life.  Our trainers will design a program that will challenge you to work at a new level and achieve those goals you thought weren't possible -- whether that means gaining muscle mass, improving your tennis game or losing a few dress sizes.  But understand that we are guides on journey; ultimately it is you who will do the work to reach your goals inside the studio and in other areas of your life.

What we are NOT.  We are not drill instructors who will scream obsenities in your face.  We are not hired employees who spend more time checking their Facebook than paying strict attention to what you are working on.  We are not miracle workers who can undo a week of bad eating in a one hour personal training session.
What we ARE.  Coach.  Instructor.  Motivator.  Listener.  Truth-teller. 

Our first priority with any program is your safety, health and well being. That means we take the time to get to know where you have been on your fitness journey, what present limitations you may have on physical activity, and what your immediate and longer term goals are. We insist on developing proper technique in all movement, whether it be a simple pushup, alternating one-hand kettlebell swings, or a jab-right cross combination. Proper technique and exercise appropriateness are prioritized over workload or arbitrary rep counts (but don't worry, you will sweat and you will feel a burn).  

We will design an innovative and varied  program that is tailor-made to the areas you want to address.  We want to provide you with the tools to take control of your fitness and, with that in mind, many of the exercises and stretches we show you can be done on your own at home, the park or other facilities.
